An old PTO (power take off) trekasaw a simple but very effective design
I got this it intending to turn tree trunks into timber suitable for the wood working industry.
I come across many tree trunks on my travels I feel some are to good to carve.
I want to get the best from the wood and I felt this would be another way I could do this.
When I plank each tree I will take photos of the freshly cut wood so if you are interested in buying some you can have a clear idea of the grain and quality of the timber
When the weather cools down (from October onwards) I will be planking more timber which will be for sale.
I have put aside some brown oak ,cherry ,sweet chestnut ,oak yew, horn beam, lime and burr oak.
The lime, burr oak and horn beam has already been planked and has been drying for some time (approx 2 years)
I have a selection of seasoned English timbers cut into rounds for wood turners elm, maple, yew, oak,, sycamore, spalted beech, acacia, burrs, etc.
