Creative Cycle
I choose to carve mainly wildlife as this is a very dear subject to me as I have lived in the country all my life and have been very fortunate to have had some amazing sitings of animals in the wild. In my work I try to capture the images and movements that I have seen so others can be inspired about what is out there and to give an understanding of natures wildlife to those who have not seen it up close. The following pictures show in a brief format the stages from tree to completed sculpture.
